STORY mandates manufacturers to source wood and materials, including plywood and fabrics, exclusively from certified suppliers. Wood must be obtained from specially selected batches marked with the FSC® mark (Forest Stewardship Council), and upholstery materials must adhere to OEKO-TEX standards.
We prioritize responsible post-production waste utilization, minimizing its environmental impact. The majority of chemical preparations used in the production process, such as stains and adhesives, are environmentally neutral. We actively encourage our partners to embrace the idea of reusing production waste, exemplified by transforming fabric residues into items like bags or personal protective equipment.
